As the title suggests, this book provides the reader with all aspects of word processing. It covers why one would need word processing, the functions and components of various systems, and how to prepare office and staff for word processing. It touches briefly on the concepts of the automated office. Also included are checklists to help the reader determine which word processsing system would be appropriate for his/her environment, and valuable appendices on word processing products, reference materials, and terms. It is obvious that the authors not only have a lot of knowledge in word processing, but have also researched well the different systems and their components. Unfortunately, it is hard to determine at which audience this book is aimed. The authors, in very basic terms, have tried to cover everything to do with word processing. The end result is an overpowering book for the uneducated user, but a too basic book for the knowledgeable user.
