About the Author

Craig Winn was the founder of Value America. Following is a brief history of his career: upon graduating magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with business degrees in marketing and finance, he began his career as a Manufacturers Representative. Serving the Price Club during its formative years, he and his firm, The Winn Company, helped shape one of America s most exciting retail revolutions. Not content with merely selling, Winn parlayed his relationships and experience into building a manufacturing company. In just three years the Dynasty grew from its inception into a $100 million public company. As a result of these experiences, he became the only entrepreneur in the dot-com arena who had actually acquired the skills this new frontier would require: namely, retail, distribution, brand management, and manufacturing. Winn lives with his wife and two sons on his farm near Charlottesville, Virginia.

As Creative Director of Value America, Ken Power conceived and executed one of the most compelling and innovative ad campaigns in American history. His unique and humorous writing style has informed, entertained and sold millions of Americans. In his previous life, Ken built his own company, Power Graphics, which he ran for nine years. He is an expert communicator, a professional copywriter and graphic designer. The father of eleven children, Ken lives with his family in Albemarle County, Virginia.
